Hand made coffin smoother plane, I make these from off cuts of hardwood from larger projects, the one pictured is made from walnut, not actually the best material for a plane, as it's very soft, but has great ornamental value. If you should order one, it will be made from ash, oak, or beach. If you have a preference, let me know by email before you order!
Please be aware that under uk law I require proof of age to sell any blades, if you don't want to collect in person from Cheltenham, then your plane will be sent without a blade, and made to suit a standard Stanley pattern plane iron. These are readily available online.
I really enjoy making these, Im happy to personalise one to your own specifications, just bare in mind this will change the price.
